Today was our last day in Bangkok, so we decided to spend it shopping down the famous Kho San Rd, putting our bartering skills to gd use!!We needed to get some clothes that we could wear in the heat in malaysia that covered our shoulders and knees!!

Then our last few hours we spend on the internet catching up and booking accomodation for Singapore, where our trip ends!!

We met as a group again late afternoon to take some taxis to the train station, where we were going to get an overnight train!!

The overnight train was to Surat Thani and took 12 hours. The air-con on the train was broken so we just had the fans and windows open!! It had seats facing each other, which were then remarkably made bunk beds!! we had to persuade the staff that we didnt want the seats to be made into beds til 9pm at the earliest!!We had individual curtains on the beds for privacy. I luckily had the bottom bunk so managed to get some sleep, Kat however didnt have much!!! It was also our first experience of non-westernised toilets (squats), which we would have to get used to!!!
