Today everyone sleapt in.
At around lunch we headed to the Chanel 7 studios where there was a Muay Thai Title fight happening with 5 smaller fights also taking place! Because it was broadcast live we were let in for free. The whole scene was chaotic though - 2000 people crammed into a room made for more like 500 people. Squished together like sardines and propped up on make-shift staging there was no room to budge and the heat, noise and costar phobic feeling was intense.
The first 3 fights were quite boring and went all 5 rounds and to be honest we were all ready to leave. The title fight was intense and 3rd round knockout. Wow now the crowd was going wild and the illegal gambling was increasing in intensity. The next two fights also ended in knock outs and a broken leg which made for very exciting watching. The last fight was with two 10 year old kids who beat the s*** out of each other and had me realize I did not want to go learn this style of kickboxing.
After the fight we headed to the weekend market for some food before waiting a few hours for Juliana to meet us.
We had planned to go bowling but ended up at a huge supermarket where we spent the next 3 hours food shopping before making it back to Goys at around midnight!
