Today it was back to school for me so I was up early and readying myself for a day of teaching at the English Institute. Classes started at 8am and the kids in the morning were mostly between the ages of 14 and 19, their English level was reasonable and they could understand a small amount of what I was saying. We talked about Australia, Colombia and things of interest. At morning break Alvaro cooked up eggs and sausages for us which was a very nice treat. The next class the students became my teachers and taught me Spanish and to be honest - helped me a great deal and had me understanding more about the tenses, nouns and verbs then I could understand prior. The students told me about a beautiful church nestled in a gorge just out of the town centre and they offered to walk me there in the morning. At midday we headed home for lunch and had a soup made from various potatoes, corn, beans, deep fried beef, salad, beans, potatoes and raspberry juice. After lunch I had a few more classes until 5:30pm but the class sizes were to big and students were hard to keep attention of. I had a short break and went back at 7pm and had one more class - this is seeming like too much work now haha. In the evening I practiced my Spanish, talked with Alvaro's family and got an early nights sleep.
