Having a fan in my room lastnight helped a lot in making sure I got some sleep. Today as it is a public holiday we were off to the beach to play beach volleyball with a group of other Couchsurfers. The good thing - it wasn't too early the meeting, so we had a very relaxing morning waiting for Khris's friend to arrive. The heat lastnight was beyond describable and even with the window open I absolutely cooked and barely managed to close my eyes all night. We had to be up early anyways as we were off hiking today with two of Khris's friends. At 8am we caught a bus into the city and met the two friends- one could speak some, one could not but they were both lovely girls.
