This morning we bought a but ticket for the 'Hop on hop off' bus tours round and about the city. We did half of the city tour and then got on the tour bus to Bondi Beach. Today we caught the Captain Cook ferry from Darling Harbour to Taronga Zoo. The zoo is reputed to be one of the best and is situated on a hill. It is advised to start at the top and work your way down and there is a Cable car to get to the top. But, just our luck, the cable car was shut for renovation. What a busy day! We set off this morning and walked to the Opera House. About 40 minutes walk. We then had a tour and the tour guide was brilliant. So funny and so much useful information. There are five auditoriums and we were able to look in three. The main one where concerts take place was spectacular with an enormous organ. We passed a large cruise ship in Circular Quay and watched the Manley ferries. When you reach the bridge it towers above you and is quite spectacular.
