We had to wait for even more days to do the diving! This meant that we had a few more days to do something so we went to the beach and hired some bicycles and rode along the promenade. Along the way we found an amazing sushi restaurant that was half price! So lucky! We also ordered some pizzas as we had missed some of the more western foods... South africa is so different to the rest of Africa! It ha a lot more western feel to it. The roads are all paved and there is a lot of western food around. One south african food we tried was Bunny chow. This is basically curry inside a hollowed out loaf. This was very spicy but great! The indian person who sold us them was great and loved to chat to us. He along with a lot of people think that we're brothers!
On one of the days we went to an aquarium!! It was so awesome! First of all we went straight into it then we realised we were in time for the shark feeding (little bit disapointing but still cool!) and then there was a dolphin show which was amazing! Luke got chosen to go up and get splashed by them. We were the only people our age there but we had such an amazing time playing around and seeing all the epic fish and jellyfish. Sadly the waterpark was closed but that meant we spent the entire day there. Definately fun for all ages
The final dive was spectacular! We picked up our hire car in the morning then headed to the office to get our scuba gear. We then waited for the speed boat to come and pick us up. It went so fast! The two dives weere done in the same area but both of them were so different! After everyone feeling a bit seasick from the epic boat ride, we all tipped backwards off the boat and into the beautiful ocean. It was very clear and lots of fish around (not as many as the maldives but that's not supprising). We then swam round for 40 mins doing only 2 skills so it was basically just for fun. The second dive we saw some more fish and some crayfish. This was just for fun as there were no more skills we needed to learn. We've completed our open water PADI course! Yay!
When we got back to shore we headed off to Ballito!
