After spending the night in an amazing house, we decided to hit the road and go inland a bit rather than up the coast. We heard that Mt Warning is spectacular so we headed for a campsite to climb it the next day. Thi was an amazing drive though the mountains and forsest so close to the coast. It is really amazing to see the difference in such a short drive! The roads were really really windy and wallabys were crossing it every now and then so we had to watch out....

The next morning we managed to find a caravan park that had spaces for us. This meant we could go on a wander around Byron Bay. FIrst of all we went into a very touristy shop where I bought some post cards and also got some dashboard items for our car. I had a 4 hour flight from Perth to Sydney starting at 12 am and arriving at 6am in the morning because of the time difference.
