Tikal sunrise We woke up at 5:30 and were in the park by 10 to 6, we ended up jogging more than half the way there which turned out to be big-time overkill..... It was quite foggy and misty so it wasn't such a great sunrise but it was still just the experience of being there for it sitting on top of the temple made thousands of years ago!!! Tikal sunset I purchased a round-trip ticket to Tikal but I couldn't buy my ticket until 330 if I wanted it to be valid for the next day so I ended up sitting at the park gate for four hours!
