Ron and Laura's 20th anniversary
Today we decided to go for a bit of a hike through Manual Antonio National Park. Right off the bat we did see a bunch of monkeys jumping through the trees, Laura and I watches them for a few minutes while dad walked up ahead of us. He had hid in the bus to try to scare us but really only ended up scaring Laura! He was quite pleased with himself having to endure getting bit by ants to pull it off! Haha
We ended up seeing three or four raccoons but other than that there was not as much wildlife as we would have hoped. Later that evening I went to the beach and met Sebastian and Julia, a nice couple from Germany. We just chilled out,talked about our travels, renting a surfboard the next day and watched the sunset.
I asked the nice ladies at reception for a good recommendation for a restaurant for an anniversary, and they sent us to Cantina. They said just look for the big fire by the road, you can't miss it! Well it was pretty hard not to miss it there grill was right by the road with a huge fire, they would take that charcoals from the fire and use them under the massive grill. The restaurant was very nice, the food was amazing, dad got pork ribs which made him quite happy!
I went and talked to the waiter well they weren't looking and asked them to bring a little cake with two candles after we were finished our meal, and I asked the restaurant for an applause for their 20th anniversary. He probably won't admit it but I'm pretty sure my dad blushed.... Haha
