Cahuita national park beach day There was a little animal rescue center called "the tree of life" we visited in the morning for a couple hours. There were all sorts of monkeys birds butterflies deer and other rodent type animals we have never seen before. It was a really nice place to visit and I'm glad we went. Puerto Viejo South of Cahita is Puerto Viejo and we decided to drive down there today to have a bit of a beach day. The beaches were really nice and there were not so many tourists. Cahuita Today we drove from San Jose to the Caribbean coast to a town called Cahuita. We found our hotel pretty easily called El Encanta. It was a lovely property and after we got settled we went straight to the ocean! Then back to the pool and into the hot tub, nice! We went out for dinner to one of the best seafood restaurants in all of Costa Rica so we were told, Dad ordered a steak, ha ha
