Jaco, Quips........then beautiful Manuel Antonio
We caught the 9 o'clock ferry across to Puntarenas, and drove south down to Jaco. We stopped in at a nice hostel restaurant and all got nice burgers. As we were eating our dinner, Karen my friend from Semuc Champey, happened to walk by, she just got into town on the bus. it was funny to run into her again! Jaco was a nice city and we considered staying there but we had our heart set on Quepos. Well we got into it Quepos and it was not what we expected! Thankfully we did a little exploring, took a drive and found Manuel Antonio, A great little beach town. We pulled into one of the coolest bars/restaurants I've ever seen called the Avion. The whole place was built around a giant airplane from the WW2! With a great view of the ocean and the fuselage of another airplane of the dumbwaiter it'll be hard to beat! We used the Wi-Fi and found hotel Costa Verde, right on the ocean with a nice pool. We spent three rest of the day playing in the ocean, enjoyed the nice sunset and had a nice dinner in town.
