We left Goa on Tuesday morning for a 6 hour train ride to Hospet and then onto Hampi, however due to heavy rain we were held up for 8 hours while waiting for a derailed train to be cleared from the track. Finally arrived at our Hotel room/ cupboard at midnight very tired.

Hampi is a religious site dating back to 1500 and is full of temples and Bazars set around a most amazing landscape. (See attached pitures)

On our first night in Hampi we enjoyed the local desert called "Hello to the Queen", which turned out to be a mistake!
