Krabi looks great in the postcards so we thought give us some of that.

When we got here its like any other sea side town but with no beac! all the postcard photos are of the surrounding islands in the Krabi province. We were planning on getting a boat to Ko Phi Phi (phi phi island is where they filmed the beach) but tomorrow is songkran (the thai new year a massive event with water fights on every corner.) Everywhere we looked on the island is fully booked, so change of plans as always we are now going to Phuket where there are more places to stay and Phi Phi another time. Only problem we came back to Thailand for one reason, Beaches we both want a tan and to chill on a beautiful beach drinking out of a coconut making our own postcard snaps. But it must be the monsoon season or smething because it hasnt stopped raining. It reminds me of summer in Folkestone. Wehave both checked weather online and it looks like it will be raining for the next week! so theres the tanning out of the window. Also no diving for me and theres no way we are getting a boat to the islands in a storm. Whats the point. (i know all of you back home are loving this!)

Tonight we just went to a local resturant and had something to eat. Kris was asked to choose a dvd to watch we chose the beach, it just made us feel worse. Come on Sun! Theres a white Englishman who needs a tan!
