Ok so arrived in Phuket, have booked in a nice hotel for 2 days in Patong then 4 days in Kata Beach. Tried to book on some diving tours and was shocked by the brice first of all about 80 quid and they are sayingthis is the low season prices, i eventually found the dive i wanted to do, Shark Point then a ship wreck and one more on the way back, but no companies are going out at the mo as its low season they need a certain abount of divers to go out to make money so cant book on a dive yet, but will keeptrying. Hoping to go to Phi Phi island while we are here, thats where they filmed the beach. I went 4 yrs ago but kris has never seen it so hopefully will go soon. Went out for a surf and turf thai style the first night got a fillet steak and lobster for under a tenner! was lovely too, didnt get to pick the one i wanted out of the tank though.
