Hello,
When we arrived in Dalat the sun was out so it wasn't quite as cold as we thought it would be. The city is really nice. Lots of cafe bars and looks a really clean sort of place and the traffic isn't too bad. They have a beautiful lake in the centre of the city that is just really nice to walk around.
They have a place they call the "crazy house" which is basically a really strangely build house. Each room is different and has themes like kangaroo and bear. The house is built with really small, narrow corridors and little rooms that you have to crawl into and its also a maze to find your way about. It was really good, we spent a good hour trying to find our way through the house.
The weather wasn't looking to great though and the temperature just dropped and suddenly we felt like we were in Scotland again :) We went back to our room before we got caught in the big thunderstorm.
The following day we rented a moped and went to see some local waterfalls. The weather was still pretty cold when we woke up and drizzling with rain, couldn't believe how different the weather was just a few hours drive away.
The first waterfall we arrived at was really cool. We got to take a sort of roller coaster down to the waterfall. It was a go-kart type thing you would sit in which was on tracks. You would start going down, building up speed and you would brake when you want. Both of us thought it was ace, tempted to go to the top just to go back down it again haha. The waterfall was amazing, although it was packed with tourists. Most of the waterfalls we have been at before we were almost the only ones there. Was still really good to see.
We decided to go and see another waterfall a few km away. It wasn't quite impressive but also pretty cool as you could walk through it so the water was falling infront of you. So we were glad we went.
The following morning we were off to Mui Ne. Dalat was really nice, a nice city to just walk around and have a nice break from the heat. Although, we are ready to put our jackets away and back to the nice hot temperature.
