Hello,
Been a wee whiley since last post in Koh Samet. The past 2weeks have been spent with both our families in 5Star Hotels in Bangkok and Koh Samui which has been absolute heaven for the both of us!!!
We spent 4days with Ann and Brad in Bangkok which was good, equally as hectic as our previous 3visits. We arrived one night previous to Brishays families arrival so that night due to our hotel room having pretty much a fully furnished kitchen we cooked up a home made meal – Nachos and FAJITAS – Jonny and Brishay style lol!!! Was brilliant being able to cook and have a sit down meal appose to the past 6months of eating out for lunch and supper.
Brad and Ann arrived the following day for our 4days in Bangkok. Not really much point in writing about all we did as have covered it in our previous Bangkok blogs. 2 noteable events i can mention is eating at the 82nd floor of the higest building in Bangkok which had incredible views and Jonny getting his hair into Cornrows which i am sure by now all of you will have seen the Facebook pictures lol.
We flew to Koh Samui where we were to spend 7days with Elaine, Doug and Daniel who were flying in from spending 4days in Dubai. We all had a really good time in Koh Samui and think both sets of families enjoyed everything we did. During the 7days we did not have the greatest of weather which was a bit of a shame but was hot just not as 'sun-tanny' weather as both families hoped for. During the 7days we did quite alot of activitie. One of the days the boys played a round of golf, which they all seemed to really enjoy. Another one of the days we hired out a Jeep and drove around the island, where we seen quite a lot. We stopped at a go-karting place where Jonny, Daniel, Brad and Brishay all had a race, which they all thourghly enjoyed. Our next stop was a shooting range where Jonny, Daniel and Brad all got to shoot different types of guns. We drove up to the top of one of the mountain areas where we got a fantastic view point of koh samui island as well as othere islands in the distance. Our last stop was on the way home where we went to see the famous rocks that are shaped like male and female genitals....lol. Got a few photos here and then set off back to the hotel to get changed and head out for some food and a few drinks.
It was a really relaxing week and we all had a great time. It just seemed to pass to quickly and before we knew it, it was time to say bye to the families, which was hard. Maybe when we are in Australia it will be a nice excuse for another holiday, never know :)
We had a great week in Koh Samui, was so good for us both to have time with our familes again, but now its back to the two of us and we set off to Koh Tao tomorrow.
Until then.....
