Can't sleep have to rise really early today to catch a train to Barcelona the train will leave at 7.10 and take between 5-6 hrs. Right on time it goes and the view of the land scape is strange and leaves me wondering, how does anything grow or survive .betweeen San-Sebastian and Barcelona is this dry land mass similar to desert . On each side of the desert are small hills which give the look of a basin ,you could play I spy and it would never be a tree.

We arrive in Barcelona around 1.30 pm ,grab a taxi and to our B&B and who should be wait at the door but the beautiful girl , Kim ,Shirley's daughter . This is just what was needed ,a sight for home sick eyes with her beaming smile . We knew she was coming but just made it even better that she was there on our arrival ,we all settled in ,then remembered that the rugby World Cup was on ,so Kim the young one with the smarts ,found an Irish pub on her phone set the map and off we all went to watch Australia play Georgia ,a couple of drinks later ,Australia win and off for dinner at the restaurant, BENZ NA. This was a very high quality restaurant and the food told the story . We had 3 entrees and 3 mains and all were superb .

Here ,as it has been in most countries we been to there are hundred of people out on the the streets enjoying what felt like a big family outing,this made for a great vibe around us.

Time for us older people to go to their beds and catch up on lost sleep More adventure await tomorrow .
