Hi,

Well up early, off to catch the plane and on our first day it went like clockwork which is a surprize ,because normally Murphys law plays a part somewhere but not today.

7.5 hrs later we are landing Singapore ,it's a beautiful day ,on our arrive but very streams. Shirley has a pickup waiting so straight to the scarlet hotel.The scarlet is very cute but small hotel ,in room size but just right for an overnight stay. The staff were friendly and help full .

We're out the door and on our way exploring , The Garden at the Bay . Catch a taxi to here and we're amazed by how many gardens there are. If you get to Singapore it's worth the effort . There are tree shrub and flowers from all over the world and at this time of the year roses were the the main thyme.

Aftter wondering around our stomachs started to rumble and my first thought were of the famous Singapore chille crab 🦀 and the garden had a couple street kind food stall and one had two kinds of crab ,we went for the peppered crab and crumped prawn.

There were lots of people so it took time to get them ,but once we did it all in. We received no hand towels or forks it was caveman eating .At the end we were covered by the peppered sauce over our clothes ,hands and especially our faces .The prawns had their shells on them and I very rarely eat the shells but this time I did and they added the crunch to the meal.

Now if you are wondering did we follow tradition,yes we did as soon as we arrived at the scarlet ,but unfortunately the wine was as good as a bottle of pee,

Ok that's it for now, we fly all day tomorrow to Frankfurt and only stay over night
