Today we are going to the east side again and our first stop is the Buda Castle. Sitting on top of the hill it takes a while to get there but the funicular helps us to the top.Once there the size of this castle is amazing and there a lot of repairs being Carried out . This castle is not like the ones you may have seen on Game of thrones,there are no battlements,no drawbridge, as Shirley kept telling me ," this is not a real castle". What you do have is fantastic view across the city as the picture in this blog reveals.

Now to the Fisherman's, Bastion.now in Shirley's words this is what a castle looks like. Again this is humongous, packed with tourist like ourselves.Again great views from the battlements. There were spires towers to hold the beautiful princess or the wicked old witch , just let your imagination run wild. It took us a bit of time to reach this ,again on top of the hill so they could see in a 360 degrees where the enemy was coming from and these views today are beautiful. So we've been, we've seen and now it's time to raise a glass ,and what better way then at the Clark Hotel top floor bar. I had a beer , Shirley a wine and a bowl of mixed nuts, it cost us $42 that's a half of our budget,slim picking for the rest of the day.Heading home now to return as the sun goes down to catch the lights .

Well we have just finish Dinner at this lovely Spanish restaurant ,food was great but not much of it, the photos will show what is ment and now we are going to the night photos of the buildings and bridges along the Danube. On a river that during the day seems asleep ,it comes alive with setting of the sun .There are all kinds of boats with tourist, if it was road you would have traffic police to direct them ,but as the night steals the day the reason become ever so clear, Buildings and bridges put on their light and the river is now sparkling,as big boat and little boat scurry around ,you had to be there to beleive all the changes.

Ok we heading back to home very tired and a little sore as we have covered 13 k with hill climbs in that ,but we will be back to do it all again tomorrow.
