Escaped Guadalajara after eating way too much of that gordibuena, which is basically a grilled gordita with incredible cheese and incredible steak on top. Ok in Guadalajara now... In A very good hostel. This town is huge, 5 M people, but very cool. Probably sticking around for a day or so. Meeting a friend who is actually going to medical school here. Went up to la Paz to get the ferry booked for what I thought would be about a week out trip.,.nope same day(Sunday) boarding in one hour. So we took it. Short update today. Got Gerod and made it to la Paz. Looking at the ferry today, possibly leaving for mazatlan tomorrow. Otherwise we will prob hang around baja and wait for the swell to hit. This place is a little touristy for me... But I am going to have crepes for breakfast, so it isn't all bad. First coffee shops I have seen a while too. Excluding cabo, which has everything and more. Day 6. No surf in conejo. Spent most of the day poking along the coast between el conejo and todos santos, which was a little nerve wracking since I became very honestly lost and low on gas.
