A few firsts today. Arrived in abreojos from the north on a very rough road today. If it wasn't under construction it was washboarded or underwater. Somewhere along this road I acquired my first flat...which I discovered around the same time I discovered the Pemex station in abreojos is never open, I believe I can still make it to st ignacio, but I will check the prices of fuel at the fishing coop too.
. I may have overestimated the ruggedness of my street tires. Pretty chewed up already. New tires may be in the cards in cabo. I have also begun to detect some play in the steering wheel, more on that as it develops
Conveniently, the flat occurred next to the break at abreojos, so I changed that sucker and paddled out. need to find a good llanteria soon
First awesomely warm water....actually got a little hot while surfing. Few locals were out, Spanish only which was another benefit for me. Las olas son bien aqui.
First boondocking out on the playa next to the fishermens boats. Seems safe enough, and close to town. No wifi though. Hopefully it doesn't turn into a boondoggle out here. I'll let you know.
First lightning storm. Putting on a good show over on the east side.
Few things I have discovered I think. Board shorts might be the best underwear here. They dry quickly, don't get too funky and are convenient as hell. Still running the numbers on this one though.
That's all I have for now. Planning to surf here tomorrow morning, then head on down to either scorpion bay or punta Conejo tomorrow. Probably be boondocking it there too but I'll see if I can't dig up some wifi somewhere.

Babar Jenks!! even though I am neck deep in dipears, this post was still for me! It reminded of the golden days and gives me hope for some to come in the future! I love reading about your fun travel stories .Reminds me of the time we didn't want to pay for the hotel at the great wall we hopped over, and after eluding the cops, camped out guerrilla style sigh. (No harassment as we casually walked out of the park in the morning either!)
