I had another wonderfully relaxing day. I explored the shopping area around Kata in the morning. Lots of cool little shops. I want to buy everything but I don't want to carry it for my whole trip so I maintained self control.
Then I headed down to the beach. It is so nice how everything is in walking distance around here. It's such a nice little holiday area. Today I went to Kata Beach instead of Kata noi. They are only a few minutes apart. I liked Kata beach better because I could go swimming and the waves weren't too strong. The beach was busier but I didn't mind. I swam in the ocean most of the day. It was perfect. Except I lost my sunglasses in the ocean when a wave from the speedboat took me by surprise. But I was able to buy new ones that are more awesome than my old ones for only 3 dollars.
In the afternoon I had a massage on the beach. I'd gotten a bit of sun so the lady used fresh aloe vera instead of oil for the massage.
I watched the sunset and then went to a little restaurant by the beach for pizza.
