UK Road Trip, Summer 2017
Our second journey into the Cotswolds took us through villages on our way to Chipping Campden. This charming village had a walking path through private yards and a field of grazing sheep. With the help of a local woman whose driveway we were standing on, we made our way to the Guild of Handicraft. The silversmith (4th generation) stopped working and told us about his craft. Amazing!
On to Stratford-upon-Avon in time to settle in at our guest house. Then off to see the Royal Shakespeare Company's production of Titus Andronicus, Shakespeare's bloodiest revenge drama. Bloody brilliant!
Dinner after the theater at the only restaurant still serving. Good Indian cuisine.

Lois Goodstein Sure, everybody goes to Stratford to see the Royal Shakespeare Theatre. But did you know that it is also home to the UK’s largest butterfly farm? So if you have to pick—Anne Hathaway’s birthplace or Archie the chameleon? Mechanical Art & Design (MAD) Museum or male-eating mantids?—I think the choice is obvious.
