UK Road Trip, Summer 2017
Our journey to explore the Cotswolds began in Painswick, a small, not very touristy village. Lovely cemetery and topiary. From there to the most touristy village of Bourton-on-the-Water. Very crowded but cute village with canals. Last stop, Stow-on-the-Wold. Charming.
On to Oxford and rain! Small hotel tucked in an alley next to an old pub. Walked around the city, umbrella in hand. Dinner at our pub and early evening. Walking tour tomorrow. Hopefully without umbrellas!
Some hotel issues. Changed rooms which helped some, except for noise, toilet flush and internet, or lack thereof. Concessions made for charm!

Lois Goodstein Worth a visit is the Cotswold Falconry Centre, where you can watch daily flying displays. You can even adopt a bird and help with the feeding, housing, and any veterinary fees for the following 12 months. Why not give a special present to someone by adopting a vulture or a buzzard for them? Beats a bottle of wine any day!
Tom Maher Whoa there, Lois. How big of a bottle of wine are we talking about here?
