Sightseeing in Durham has to begin at the Cathedral. This cathedral, according to one of the docents, was voted BEST cathedral in all of England. It was very impressive. Next was the castle. Unenthusiastic guide but interesting castle which is now one of the colleges at this university. Did the riverwalk and wandered through town. Enjoying the SUN!
Dinner at a Lebanese restaurant to complete the day. Last stop, the pub below us.

This is a perennial favorite, with international street bands transforming Durham's World Heritage Centre into the Home of Street Brass for two days of fun, frolic, and musical madness. It’s the bees’ knees!
