I need air conditioner!! Well, last night we had a bit of a cooler night with our new addition of a teeny fan we had at the end of our beds.We pushed out beds together and sat the fan on the end so all we could feel was a bit of air on our feet. I slept a little bit better, so that was good.We woke up around 7:30 and got ready for class, stopped by the breakfast buffet, had a cheese Danish, and left for school. The Danishes here, if I have not already noted, are the best things ever! I am going to try to bring some home because Starbucks cannot beat these! In class we had our presentation which went well and then we got our grades back from papers and presentations so far.I got a 90 on one and a 95 on the other, so all is well. After that we discussed the Carlsberg beer project, and got new group assignments.I was assigned to the media group which is pretty much media buying. It is focusing in on the target market for our product, the beer, and figuring out what type of media they use the most.Figuring out which magazines they read, TV stations they watch, newspapers they read, and pretty much their interests. After we figure out which specific media we are going to use we have to get the media kits for each different TV station, magazine and so on.From there we decided when, where and how our ads will be placed, and how much it is going to cost and figure out what we can budget for.I have done a project like this before so it should be pretty easy. The whole project goal is to create an integrated marketing communications plan for launching Carlsberg Beer into the US.So anyway, we also just found out that this project is due this Friday, which is a few weeks before we thought, so we are going to be very busy this week.We also get to go visit Carlsberg and ask questions and such to use for our project. Anyway, after that we went to lunch, stuffed porkchops...yum, and then we went back to class to get started on some prep work for the project. We had to figure out what the target market was for Carlsberg and its competitors in order start the project, so we researched using MRIplus which tells everything about the target market. We found that the target person is a male ages 18-34 with a college degree, living in a house worth $550k+ and making 150+.I am trying to figure out how this is all working out but MRIplus is used in every business for information like this so we are going to use it too because is it very credible. This web site also tells us everything from their interests, race, magazines read, TV stations watched, and newspapers read, radio stations listened to, hobbies, and much much more.So anyway that was pretty much class for the day. After that we went shopping, then back to the room for a quick nap and then back out for dinner. We ate at Café Classé again and I had a club sandwich. On the way, we stopped by the 7 Eleven and bought a bottle of Heinz ketchup because we are tired of eating our fries with their gross rendition of ketchup. After dinner we had to complete some surveys abut Carlsberg beer so we went and did that to some of the local bartenders and Danes to use for our project. Now we are back at the hotel and getting ready for bed.We have a long day tomorrow working on projects so we are going to try to get to bed at a decent hour. All is still well here, everyone is still getting along and having a good time. I still have my camera, my ring, passport, computer and all of my important stuff, and I have had no problems so far..I am sure I am doubted when it come to losing things, but I guess I desreve that =) Our room is getting a little cramped, clothes and stuff going everywhere, I attempted washing clothes in the tub but it didn't work so we are going to make a trip to the laundry mat tomorrow. I have been told by a source that I have bad misspelling problems, and I apologize, but I type so fast because I have to much to do and so much to tell, so I am sorry and I will try to be better =) Love you all, good night!
