Day 61 - Sihanoukville
We got the bus at 9am and arrived in the early afternoon. We headed straight for Utopia, which is a famous hostel here which is known for pool parties and free dorms. We decided not to stay in the dorm and got a private room for 8 dollars. We headed down to the beach to have some lunch. There were even more kids here selling things and begging, but they have some attitude here! One young girl started mocking our accent haha. After ten minutes of being hounded by three 10 year old kids Michael asked them to give us some space to eat our lunch. One of the little boys rolled his eyes and tried to get Michael to pinky promise that we would find him later to buy books from him. Later we went to a few of the bars, we played in a pub quiz and came in 3rd! A bit of an improvement from last place. We found a bar owned by a guy from Liverpool and we ended up sitting at the bar chatting to him and his brother in law all night. It ended with him giving us all jäger bombs on the house and lots of beers. We ran home from the rain at 4am.
Day 62 - Sihanoukville
We were moving hotels today as it turns out utopia is quite a dump. That meant we had to get up at 10 and drag our rucksacks to the new hotel feeling very worse for wear! We went straight to sleep when we got there. We spent the day feeling terrible, in and out of the swimming pool and our beds!
Day 63/64 - Sihanoukville
We spent both days hiding inside from the rain, having some amazing food at the different bars, and reading our books. Sihanoukville is pretty much sunbathing during the day and drinking at night, so the fact it's raining means we have been a bit bored so far.
