Day 42 - Luang Prabang We checked out of our hotel at 12, and had to wait until 5 for our bus to vietnam. It was pouring of rain and since we had no where to go to dry off, I ended up with a cold. Day 39 - Luang Prabang The hostel we had booked into last night was pretty much a dump, so when we got up today we checked out and went to find somewhere better. We had lunch first and then went wandering around the city. We found a really nice guesthouse with a lovely double room for the same price we were paying in the hostel, so we booked it and went back tote hostel to get our bags. Day 37 - Vang Vieng Today we had a bit of a lie in, then went for lunch and to watch some more friends. After a couple of episodes we went to the Market stalls to buy our 'tubing in the vang vieng' souvenir tshirts that everyone wears when tubing. We both got 2 tshirts each and I bought new flip flops and a pair of shorts, we got all of it for £7 - bargain. Day 36 - Vang Vieng We got up and ate our leftover pizza for breakfast while we packed up our bags. Vientiane was a nice place, but for a capital city there's not much going on. So we decided not to hang around and booked the 2pm bus to Vang Vieng. It was a very hot day so we sat in an air con cafe drinking fruit shakes until it was time for the bus. Day 35 - Vientiane We arrived at the minivan service station and they had a sign saying they had a room available. We were so tired and couldn't be bothered trying to find somewhere so decided just to stay here. We slept till mid afternoon and then went to explore.
