Dear Aaron
Thank you for very generously buying us Diarrhea tablets. It was very kind of you. So far, based on the old adage that it is better out than in, we have refrained from using them but it is comforting to know that they are there in case we need to go on a long journey or are generally out of range of a toilet for more than several minutes.
Donna has so far been able to avoid an upset stomach due to being careful. I on the other hand have been secretly trying to achieve one by having a more laissez faire approach to using tap water to brush my teeth and licking the shower head.
My lackadaisical approach has come from a rather naive idea that a nice stomach upset would help shed those extra few pounds I have been carrying since the wedding. Unfortunately, I didn't take into account the intense pain this puts both my stomach and bottom in, but hey no pain no gain. Unfortunately, so far it hasn't ruined my appetite so I will have to say this approach has been somewhat a failure.
But on a positive note, it has allowed me to blog about my favourite subject and leads nicely into my top ten list...
TOP TEN REASONS WHY A BUMGUN IS BETTER THAN TOILET PAPER
1. It is quicker
2. It is a lot more gentle on tender areas
3. It is a lot cleaner (as long as you don't mind the wet bum aspect)
4. Aimed correctly it can reach the places that toilet paper just cannot reach
5. It is better for the environment
6. It is fitting in with the local culture
7. It also replaces the toilet brush
8. It also replaces the shower in extreme circumstances
9. It is a good conversation starter
10. Donna has stolen all the toilet paper so I don't really have a choice
Lots of love
Jim

*The bumgum is the colloquial name given to the water spray that you find in most Asian toilets that you can use instead of toilet paper in a sort of portable bidet style action
