Yesterday morning we headed out for a walk along the beach again but went a bit further as I wanted to see the Bali Memorial. Today we set out to go to the Royal Palace only to find that it was closed over the middle of the day. A tuk-tuk driver approached us to take us on a 1-hour tour of the city. On our 2nd day in Siem Reap we caught a tuk-tuk to the National History Museum and wandered through this well laid out museum listening to the audio tour telling us about the history of the temples and the ancient Khmer. The museum had many artefacts from temples, a hall of 1000 Buddha statues and wonderful video displays as well. We arrived in Cambodia last night and were met at the airport by our driver. He showed us to our tuk-tuk for the 15 minute drive to our hotel. Tuk-Tuks here are a motorbike with a trailor on the back that has padded seats, armrests and can seat 4 people. The night had cooled down so our drive in was enjoyable.
