Our final two days in Australia were spent in Cape Tribulation, north of Cairns. We were picked up from our accomodation early on the 31st and we went to the Daintree River and got an hours cruise. We saw Crocodiles including the dominant male of the river "Scarface" he was around four metres in length and very scary looking. We then did a half hour walk in the Rainforest and got dropped at our accomodation for the night. We stayed in the Cape Trib Beach House which was really good as it was in the middle of the Rainforest but also on the beach. We relaxed with the rest of the group for the evening.
On the 1st of June we had the morning to ourselves before getting picked back up. We decided to go the walk along the beach to the lookout point. The walk took an hour but was really nice. Its bizarre as some of the rainforest spills out and has started growing in the sand on the beach. This is one of the only places in the world where you can see this. In the afternoon we got to do a walk around Mossman Gorge. We then got to have a look around Port Douglas before heading back to Cairns.
