On the 13th of May we got into Brisbane around lunch time. We dropped our bags at the hostel and headed for a walk down the main street which was one street away from our hostel. Quite a laid back day.

Our full day in Brisbane was the 14th. We went into the main museum which was full of art work. In the museum there was access to the Bell Tower where we went up and could get a view across the city. We then went for a walk in the Botanic Gardens which are at the edge of the city. The gardens have a University in them and looked like a lovely place to study. From there we got the ferry over to the Southbank of the river. There was a really cool man made beach here where we sat for a while. Then went on the big wheel and headed back into the city. Went to the cinema and saw Angels and Demons at night time, its nice to do normal things now and again.
