hello all

quick update. i am going to be in alice springs for a couple of months.

i am a volunteer at the red cross shop and i now have a paid job as barmaid/waitress/washer upper (all the above and more) at the Best Western Motel.

it is really hard work but u know me, i love a challenge. so glad i managed to find a job. it was my second day of looking.

handed in my CV and they said they had no vacancies, got a phone call a couple of hours later asking if i could start that night. its all about timing.

today i am volunteering 12.30-4.30 at red cross and start work at 5pm.

tomorrow i have been asked to help out at a wine tasting festival...and then work.

lots of work and not much to do in alice, so lots of saving.

going to fly from darwin to brisbane so i will be there for family coming out!
