Hi so we made it to our second destination! after a delay on our flight from Jo'burg, which meant we missed our connecting flight in Hong Kong - not what you want when you get off a 13hour flight! but it was fine the staff at HK had already booked everyone who was getting a connection and missed it onto the next available flight so instead of flying at 9.05am we flew at 10.30am which was fine. That was then another 4 hour flight and the time difference between jo'burg and Tokyo is 7 hours so weird to think that while Im writing this half dozing (i know its only 9pm) as i didnt get much sleep (about 2 hrs) last night on the plane you guys in the UK are just finishing lunch and are at work.

Well we amazingly found the hostel really easily from the directions and just got on a couple of trains and then a 5 minute walk. Once we dropped our bags we went off for a little walk in search of food - its so nice to be able to walk around again now after being stranded in jo'burg. So we just had a wander about not very far and grabbed a McDonalds - i know how western and boring are we!! then we've come back to the hostel where it is free internet usage!! and so we're just looking at where we want to go tomoroow but i think a trip to the tourist office is needed to get a new map - Laura yours is great its just Toms scribblings make some things a bit hard to decipher! lol

Anyway i think Vic may want on this computer now - if she's not already fallen asleep, no doubt i'll be updating and emailing a bit this week as we have free usuage so get in touch!!
