So from Puno we got a bus to Cuzco but after about an hour into the journey (9pm) i started to feel ill with a really dodgy tummy! - not good on a coach! Wow the Favela tour was excellent a real eye opener. We got picked up about 1,30pm and taken to the bottom of the Favela (Rocinha). This favela is built on a hill next to the Tijuca national forest and above the rich neighbourhood of Gavea. So since my last entry we´ve changed hostel here in Rio a couple more times and are now in one of the cheapest ones but where we have a TV in our twin room and it seems pretty OK and is right on the front drag of Botafogo (area in Rio we´re in).
