Well our last night in Buenos Aires was very eventful! We were sat in a restaurant on the corner just up from our hostel and just as we'd finished eating at the crossroads 2 buses piled into one another with the one coming down the road towards us being shunted across into the bank opposite (squashing a man dead) then careering down the road and finally smashing into a hotel on our side of the road. It was quite traumatic to watch as there were people lay scatter...

Well we managed to book our tours and so on tuesday evening we got on yet another over night bus up to the Iguazu falls which are the furthest north in Argentina and are shared over the border with Brasil. It took 17 hours on the bus to get up there but the seats were the most comfortable we had as they reclined and you got a foot/leg rest so they were practically like a bed and you got a blanket and a pillow. Well we've arrived here in Argentina and we've settled into our hostel well although i think we would win the award for the most cramped bathroom ever, as you have to sit down on the loo and swing your legs round to get into the shower. But hey at least its warm in this hostel, exactly what you need when the weather is so grotty. Well we arrived in Chile and it is still very cold here, but we were so tired we just booked into a hostel from the airport went there and went straight t bed for a couple of hours, the hostel when we woke up again we found was freezing cold and very shabby, but it had to do for the time being. Woo hoo so we did our skydive in Taupo although we were supposed to do it in the morning due to bad weather we had to wait until the afternoon and a sliver of blue sky to do it, but do it we did and it was brilliant!! granted i couldnt breathe while we were freefalling (60seconds) but it was just so amazing and then when the parachute opened it was so peaceful and the view was absolutely stunning!
