So we've been sailing in the Whitsundays and apart from it being freezing it was good!! on Friday we went down to the marina to get on the boat which was called Hammer, it was a maxi racer to any of you that know boats!? There was 22 of us plus 4 crew members so quite a squish but we all soon got used to it and everyone got on really well - not that you have much option. So we booked our trip and bought our greyhound tickets and a reef trip from Cairns on Monday so was quite a big expenditure, but yesterday we went out on the reef trip where i had a go at diving and Vic snorkelled around the reef around green island. Wow!!! is all I can say about Ayers rock! We arrived on the Friday lunchtime and got our hire car from the airport - a silver Toyota corolla - an automatic which took some time to get use to! We drove straight to Ayers rock having seen it already from the skies as we came into land.
