Day 24 - 12 May. A cool clear day out visiting Stonehenge with Sam and our cousin Debbie Grimmett. Day 22 - St Albans day (10 May)and Sam visiting the place of his birth. It was off around 9am (after the commuter rush, up the M4, onto the M25 and then into St Albans - with cousin Nigel as the driver/tour guide and me struggling to recognise anything! Day 23- 11 May - Cotswold church tour with a team of 4 Grimmett males - Nigel. Tom, Sam and Jeff - all seeking out where their shared ancestors came from. Turned out to be a small (20km diameter total) area more or less centred on Burford Oxfordshire. Day 20 & 21 - 2.00am start to get to the Amman airport, some technical hitch with my ticket, had to buy another ticket (ouch!!), separated from the rest of the team, but still managed to get to Heathrow OK (10hrs later) and there was cousin Nigel. Phew!! Lots if talk, cups of coffee and 2 hours layer Sam turns up - highlight of the trip!! A low and high day for sure - all good.
