Heelloooo..

I've managed to get a few more photos on here but it takes soooo long and i take sooo many that it is difficult!! I'm writing this blog on the coach on my way to the Whitsunday Islands and everyone else is asleep as we were up at 5am this morning as we've got such a massive day ahead of us! ! We're travelling just under 1000k today waaaa!!!!

So, anyway back to the blog! In the afternoon we went to into the mountains and visited a zoo where i got to hold a Koala bear and feed some Roo's in their enclosure which was fab! We were supposed to get the skyrail back but it was having maintenance done to it so we got to go on the train instead which was great! We saw the tully river and waterfalls and beautiful scenery! Believe it or not i would have more pics but my camera battery seems to be faltering and keeps dying on me at the worst possible moments!!! My friends have taken some for me but i will need to get some copies at some point!! We then went out to an aboriginal night on the evening which was cool where they made fire, did dances and loads of other neat stuff! The next day we were up bright and early in readiness for the Great Barrier Reef!!! We went on a catamaran which was fab and went snorkelling twice and scuba diving! It was AMAZING!!!! Saw some jelly fish though so was glad i wore my very unattractive stinger suit!! (pics to follow)... We hired an underwater camera between three of us and managed to get some cool snaps which i will get on here when i can... On the evening the whole group went out for a meal and then to a club called the Woolshed! It was a really good night and i tried my first (and possibly last) Jagerbomb!! LOL!

The next morning we drove to Undara but weren't able to go and see the lava tubes on the proper tour as they are flooded with the rain water they have been having here! (At one point we thought this part of our trip was going to be cancelled as it was soo bad!!) We did a little mini tour and went for a dip in the floodwater (not many people can say that!!)... We then did a bush walk at sunset which was beautiful and had some snacks and champers too! Yum!
