Woooo hooo! I have just had the most amazing couple of days!!! We arrived in Airlie beach and grabbed our small rucksacks ready for our sailing trip around the Whitsundays - OMG what a trip!!! We had heard bad things about the boat from other people so were quite apprehensive before we got there but it was fantastic!! It wasn't the biggest boat in the world for 32 people but we had sooo much fun! The weather was fab and even the crew members couldn't believe how much sunshine we had in the rainy season.... We set sail just as the sun was setting which was really, really beautiful! Then a thunder and lightening storm happened in the distance which was AMAZING to watch as the whole sky was lighting up! We moored up and got the tunes going and started drinking the GOON!!! (Cheap wine out of a bag - eg a box of wine without the box!)... We played drinking games and generally had a fun evening... the next day we set sail again and went snorkelling a couple of times in different locations.... Again we had loads of fun jumping off the boat and stuff like that! We moored up again and had a quiter one the second night (although not by much really!! haha!) We woke up on our last day and went and swam in a waterfall just after breakfast and then sailed back to Airlie but saw dolphins swimming by the boat which happens very rarely on that trip according to the crew!!! AMAZING!!!!!! There were another coupld of crazy things happened to make the trip more interesting - like when the motor broke and we had to completely rely on the sails so were all rallying round the boat to help set them up and hanging off the side to catch the none existant winds (as it was sooo sunny there was very little breeze!!)..... The one time it did rain was when we were all playing frizbee and mucking about at Whitehaven beach..... WOW what a FANTASTIC place that is!!!!? I haven't got my USB now so the photos will follow shortly....

Gotta go as i am running out of time.... We're out on the town in Airlie tonight, travelling to Rockhampton tomorrow (so should get my phone back fingers crossed), then going to stay on Fraser Island where we are having a fancy dress party!!! We've been to buy hideous dresses today so watch this space as photos will follow!!!! lol!!!
