I'm in Sydney!!!! Wooo hooo!!! Thats a hell of a lot of miles i've covered the last few weeks!! Waaaa!
We left Byron Bay and travelled to Myall Lakes... It was a long days drive but made fun again because of the ace people we've got on the tour!! We stopped off a different places on the way (which i forget the names of) and arrived about tea time.... We were staying in massive eco cabins which were like plush apartments!! They were fabulous! We went for a bbq and had a few drinks at the bar and played pool for a while... We then all went onto the London girls balcony to wait for Clara's birthday to start at midnight! As it was our last night of the tour as well we all sat round drinking and chatting and playing truth or dare and telling stories about ourselves - the group is sooo fab - i'm REALLY going to miss them!!! :( We saw in her birthday with lots of singing, dancing, drinking and general noise haha.... The next morning we had breakfast and then went canoeing on the lake which was a lovely relaxing way to start the day!! We then headed down the coast for the last time, destination Sydney!! We stopped off for wine tasting and lunch in the Hunter Valley and then a few hours later and lots of very emotional speeches and things on the caoch we arrived at our final destination!! We stopped for a couple of group photos before splitting up and going to our individual hostels.... Quite a few of us met up for a meal at the Wake up hostel me and a few others are staying at and then went out last night for a few drinks in some funky bars called Argyle in the Rocks area and Cargo in Circular Quay. Today Julie, Alison and I have been sightseeing round Sydney taking LOADS of photos and are going out for a meal and some drinks this evening.... Julie is in my room at the hostel and Alison isn't staying too far away...
I realised looking back that i haven't really spoken much about the people on my tour so will write a bit about them now.... When i first met the group there was: Julie from FB is from Lowestoft who has turned out to be one of my best buddies on this trip and i have such a laugh with!! I started off sharing a room with Kira from Germany, Anne-Marie from Holland and Mackenzie from America - they were fab too! Mackenzie left us after the red centre and didn't travel to Cairns which was a shame as she was lovely! Kira and Anne-Marie are also my really good friends and we are hoping to meet up regularly in the future. Then in the red centre we also had James B, Leigh and James from London, Caroline from Italy, Christina from Germany, Tyler from Toronto, Katie and Jake were from Manc and Oxford i think....
The tour from Cairns to Sydney had 32 people, 9 of which were us from the red centre... Other fab people i've become very close to are Alison from Aberdeen, 2 Nikki's one of which was originally from Shifnal but now lives in London... Then there is Sarah, Vikki, Amie and Clara from London, Shazeen and Kerwin from Canada, Daniel from Scotland somewhere, Joanna and Chris from Aberdeen too, and loads more people but i'm running out of time again now...!! I will try and put a name list on here at some point so i can keep it with my blog...
Anyway better go.... This appears to just be a whittering blog about nothing in particular but nevermind!!!
Hope you are all ok....
