We left Nuttbush early with our first stop at Kimba, the halfway point across Australia and the home of the big galah. Here we ran into our new friends, Joel and Abelia with their kids, so Tully was pretty excited to run crazy with them again. On we went, stopping at Minnipa for lunch, a tiny town but with one good feature, a playground. Funnily, Joel and Abelia found us again and the kids had a ball playing together. We all proceeded to Streaky Bay and Jarrod and I decided a spot on the foreshore would be perfect, settling in for a couple of days. Right on the water we strolled along the sand, enjoying a beautiful night in a special place. The picture of Tully is him meeting a replica of a famous shark, caught in Streaky Bay in 1990. Scared the life out of him as he was confronted by it unexpectedly. But he soon warmed to it happy in the knowledge it was "just a pretend one".
