Left Streaky Bay early, keen to get moving again. Stopped briefly at Ceduna and then for lunch at Yalata. Had originally planned to stop for the night there, but with nothing much to offer and it still being early in the day we decided to push on. Tully slept so that bought us more time and before we knew it we had reached the Nullarbor road house about 150kms further than planned. We travelled about 20kms on to the 164km Rest Stop, a true free camp with no amenities. But the price was good! The other big highlight today was a stop at the Head of the Bight. The view out over the ocean was amazing. No whales this time of year but still a beautiful look out. Weather was overcast earlier this morning but fined up as we drove, nice and warm so Tully was more than happy to have his outdoor shower. He's been happy today sharing his water with what he describes as the thirsty prickles. We also passed the Sunrise crew twice today, so tomorrow's challenge is to try and get on TV. Plan to make it to Eucla.

Gayle Smith Look forward to watching you trip
Sue & Digby Gifford Sounds like you guys are having a good time so far
Bev & Haydn View certainly is spectacular as you cross the Bight. 30 years ago there wasn't a board walk
