Instead of heading back to Kathmandu we decided to check out some other towns in Kathmandu Valley before flying out of the country. Our first stop was Nagarkot, a little town right on the outskirts of Kathmandu Valley with amazing views of the mountains and hillsides covered in rice paddies.

We spent two nights there with Vianne and Felix and did a couple of walks of the area. Nagarkot is a pleasant area where the locals seem to lead a simple, laid back life free from the pollution of Kathmandu which is 2 hours away.
