We had a fantastic time in beautiful, chilled out Luang Prabang from breakfasts overlooking the Mekong River to post midnight ten pin bowling. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and celebrated our five year anniversary with a trip to a waterfall where we climbed through a deserted area to find our own little rock pools, followed by some great value cocktails and a night out on the town. We found Vientiane to be a bit of a shock after the places we've been to, it's a very sleepy town with almost nothing to see or do besides visiting a night market that sets up along the river.
