We've finally started our trip - first stop Hong Kong.

So far we've done a lot of walking due to our outstanding ability to get lost and choosing to hike up to the peak when there is a perfectly good cable car available. We've enjoyed eating where the locals eat however this usually involves us not knowing what we've ordered and receiving some unexpected dishes…for $3AUD who can complain?

Our impressions of Hong Kong are that it is a big, noisy, smelly (good and bad) and messy city but altogether not too bad. The city seems much better at night with light shows, clubs and a buzzing atmosphere. There isn't too much of a language barrier as there is usually someone close by who can help out.
