After spending two nights in Pokhara we both agree that it's a beautiful town that we could easily spend another week in soaking up the atmosphere, eating amazing food and floating on the lake. Luckily, after our trek to Annapurna Base Camp we will return here and we can't wait. The streets are so lively, colourful and laid back and it's all right next to a beautiful lake where you can hire a boat for about $5/hour or take your pick of one of the many bars with deck chairs, cocktails and most importantly happy hours that last 6 hours offering deals like two Long Island Iced Teas for $3.
