We spend the morning on a tour of Alice Springs School of the Air. It was great to see how kids in remote communities and locations (as far away as New Guinea and the Tiwi Islands) do their school work and it was interesting to compare their program to the DECV one we are using. On the way back into town we went up Anzac Hill for a good view of town and some interesting details of Australia's involvement in more than a century of overseas conflicts.
