Central Australia is famous for it's camels, so we thought a trip to the railway station was in order to see The Ghan train arrive in town. Named after the Afghan cameleers the train was over 600 metres long and stretched out of sight in both directions from the platform. The Ghan is a passenger train that goes from Darwin to Adelaide. It stops at towns in the day and travels at night so when you wake up in the morning your at a different spot. We spend the afternoon doing some schoolwork and having a swim in the pool and more slides.
