An early pack up in readiness for the pancake breakfast at the caravan park, which we enjoy with a family from Nundroo (SA). We head south from Alice Springs and then west to Yulara (Ayers Rock Resort). We have lunch at Mt Ebenezer roadhouse which was an interesting log cabin extended over the years to include the Bull Bar. On the way we pass Mt Conner which is known locally as Fooluru, as from a distance many travellers think it's something else when first sighted. But we weren't foolled and waited until the real thing was in sight. Both Uluru and Kata Tjuta were impressive from many kilometres away.

Bron The Pecks were definitely fooled by Fooluru! Didn't know they called it that though
Dad Yep locals advised us about that name - many heading in think it's the real thing but from 150 km away it aint quite that big. Mt Augustus maybe!
